HOW TO ENROLL AT TSE

In order to register to TSE, you first need to apply during one of our application campaigns and receive a positive answer from our selection committees. Application dates and procedures vary depending on the program you wish to enter and your profile. Please make sure to submit your application on time: you will find a summary of all application periods here. There are no application fees.

Once you confirmed your acceptance at TSE on the dedicated platform, you will receive an automated e-mail informing you about the registration procedure. Enrollment is open as of July through an online portal, although most international students usually register in person at their arrival in September, as the portal is only available in French - more information below.

Registrations for the 2024-2025 academic year are now closed. If you wish to join us for the 2025-2026 academic year, please apply during the dedicated application campaign.

ENROLLMENT ONLINE OR IN PERSON ?

  • ONLINE ENROLLMENT / IA WEB:

Please be aware that the online enrollment portal is available only in French and will require to pay at least a third of the enrollment fees. If you are comfortable enough with the language and do not benefit from any waiver, you may proceed with the online registration process. However, please note that the Admissions office will save a spot for any newcomer joining one of our Master's programs, so do not hesitate to let us know if you would rather register online.

  • ENROLLMENT IN PERSON :

Those concerned will be notified by e-mail about the registration procedure by the Admissions Office.

You must register in person if you are in these situations:

  • International newcomers
  • TSE students not fluent in French
  • Students who received a fee waiver (exempted from the 5,500 € tuition fees of the Master's programs, international track)
  • International students receiving a scholarship (Campus France, embassy scholarship, or any scholarship sent by an international institution). Do not hesitate to let us know as soon as you received confirmation of your scholarship.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO STUDY AT TSE?

Enrollment fees depend on the program and your profile as a student. You will find the detailed cost below.

A national student contribution called CVEC is however required for any student registering in a French higher education institution. It is the first step of the enrollment procedure - see below.

 NATIONAL STUDENT CONTRIBUTION (CVEC)

Before enrolling, you will need to pay the national student tax called CVEC (Contribution Vie Etudiante et de Campus) amounting to 103 €.

The CVEC must be paid directly to the CROUS. After the payment, you will get a payment certificate or a waiver certificate. This certificate is mandatory at the moment of your enrollment at the university (online or in person). All students, including scholarship holders, can obtain a certificate relating to the payment or exemption of the CVEC via the portal cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr.

For more information :

  • CVEC website (only in French).
  • You can contact the CROUS directly at this number +33140513735 to know more (English-speaking contacts for international students).

The Admissions Office will forward you all the necessary information to pay the CVEC (translations in English) and proceed with your registration in person.

 ENROLLMENT FEES

For the academic year 2024-2025, the enrollment fees (except for students who are not citizens of the European Economic Area, who must refer to the differentiated registration fees below) amount to:

For a Bachelor’s degree:

  • 141 € per year + 34 € for accessing the library services (payable only once for the same academic year), namely 175 €

Please note that citizens from outside the European Economic Area may be concerned with the differentiated registration fees - see below.

For a Master's degree - standard track:

  • 216 € per year + 34 € for accessing the library services (payable only once for the same academic year), namely 250 €

Please note that citizens from outside the European Economic Area may be concerned with the differentiated registration fees - see below.

For a Master's degree - international track:

  • Additional training fees of 5,500 € per year (+ 250 € of national registration fees).

These fees include :

  • Project management courses and other practical courses (e.g. professional development courses in small groups)
  • Access to the support of TSE careers service, from internship applications to salary negotiations
  • French language classes (at the end of August) for international students
  • Math Camp (at the end of August)
  • A welcome pack called Toul'box provided by the University of Toulouse to help you get settled

DIFFERENTIATED REGISTRATION FEES FOR NON EU-STUDENTS

Non-EU students, namely students who do not hold the citizenship of one of the European Economic Area and are not residents of Quebec, are required to pay differentiated registration fees.

The differentiated registration fees for the 2024-2025 academic year amount to:

  • 2,850 € per year at the Bachelor’s level (including 34 € for accessing the library services)
  • 3,879 € per year at the Master’s level (including 34 € for accessing the library services)

For the academic year 2024-2025, students accepted in our Master's program, international track, are exempted from the differentiated registration fees. They are thus required to pay a total amount of 5 500 € (training fees) + 250 € (national registration fees), thus a total of 5,750 € + the CVEC national tax (103 €)

More information on the document provided here.

Fee waivers and scholarships

Fee waivers for Master's programs, international track

Additional enrollment fees of 5,500€ apply to Master's programs, international track.

TSE offers every year a fee waiver of 5,500 € to several students accepted in Master's programs, international track, on the basis of academic and social or geographical criteria. This action is part of the TSE policy and will be maintained for the next recruitment campaigns. Please note that these fee waivers do not concern the university enrollment fees (amounting to 250 €) and the CVEC, "Student life tax" (amounting to 103 €) which remain at your cost.

Procedure to request a fee waiver

  • Two fee waiver commissions for international Master's program applicants will be held:
  • One commission for Eiffel scholarship and January-Feburary campaigns applicants will be held at the end of the end of March 2025. Admitted applicants will receive an email from the Admissions Team, specifying the procedure and deadline for sending their tuition fee waiver request.
  • One commission for current TSE students and Master 2 applicants holding a French degree will be held at the end of May/early June 2025. Admitted applicants will receive an email from the Admissions Team, specifying the procedure and deadline for sending their tuition fee waiver request.
  • You will be duly informed of the decision given to your tuition fee waiver request by email by the Admissions Team.
