September 22–23, 2025
Brussels
This workshop is organised by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission with the support of the Toulouse School of Economics and Yale University.
Objective:
The main objective of this workshop is to present state of the art scientific research on several aspects of the economic implications of the DMA, and take stock of the knowledge generated so far. However, as the DMA will go through an evaluation in 2026, the workshop intends to provide timely information to address relevant issues for the coming years of DMA’s implementation and enforcement. Among others, the questions that will be addresses are: How the research generated so far can help the DMA evaluation? What research would be needed? What are the DMA areas that generate more and less attention? Which areas require more attention?
Submissions:
We welcome submissions of theoretical, empirical and experimental papers on all economic aspects of the DMA. We particularly encourage submissions of policy-oriented papers.
Deadline: papers should be submitted by sending an email to nestor.duch-brown@ec.europa.eu by June 1st 2025.June 1st, 2025.
