The Shanghai 2023 global ranking of academic subjects has placed TSE - via the Toulouse Capitole University - 19th worldwide in the field of economics. As the university's economics department, TSE is ranked 1st in continental Europe, and 19th in the world.
Moving up from 22nd position worldwide in 2022, this ranking is a sign of TSE's strengthening of its position as a leader in economics, recognition of the excellence of its research and teaching, supported by Toulouse Capitole University.
