The 8th Toulouse Economics and Biology Workshop will be held online, on May 11-12, 2021. The theme is Fertility: Causes and Consequences. This event will gather researchers from several disciplines, including anthropology, biology, demography, and economics.
Background and objective
Just as physics provides a foundation for chemistry, and chemistry for medicine, biology is the natural foundation for any science that seeks to understand the behavior of living beings, including humans. This year we will be holding the 8th Toulouse Economics and Biology Workshop. In the past, this workshop has dealt with topics such as the evolutionary foundations of morality, the intra-generational transmission of preferences, the family, cognition and rationality, and cultural evolution. This year the theme is Fertility: Causes and Consequences. Speakers come from several disciplines, including anthropology, biology, demography, and economics.
Registration
