Biography
Abdelaati Daouia is Associate Professor in Mathematics at the Toulouse School of Economics, a Research Fellow at TSE-Partnership, and is the director of TSE's Master 2 program in Data Science for Social Sciences. Abdelaati's primary research fields are mathematical statistics and nonparametric inference. Major attention is directed towards frontier modeling and extreme value theory. His interdisciplinary research aims to promote the better use of statistics in tail risk mitigation, production econometrics, and social-economic studies.
